Happy New Year from all of us at Zebra Crossings!

As snow sparkles over New Hampshire, it’s the perfect time to hit “refresh” and set intentions for the year ahead. At Zebra Crossings, we’re dreaming big for 2026—more laughter, connection, and moments where children with chronic medical conditions and their families feel empowered, included, and celebrated.
This January, we’re embracing starting small, building healthy routines, and celebrating every step—from a gentle stretch to a cozy moment cooking together.
Join Us For 12 Months of Meaningful Resolutions
January kicks off a year of small, meaningful resolutions—one focus per month to nurture health, connection, and joy. Every month is a chance to try something new, celebrate milestones, and connect with other families.
Together, we can make 2026 a year of healthy routines, meaningful connections, and joyful moments for every child, caregiver, and family in our community.
January Resolution: Begin with Balance
Balance means creating a rhythm that works for your mind, body, and heart:
Support yourself and your family:
Try a simple daily routine with rest, movement, or mindfulness.
Celebrate tiny wins—a few minutes of stretching, mindful breathing, or a shared family meal.
Get Involved:
Support Zebra Crossings by making a year-opening donation or monthly gift, helping children and families thrive all year.
Balance looks different for every family, and sometimes the simplest way to nurture it is through gentle, intentional movement. As we focus on building routines that support both physical and emotional well-being, we’re inviting families to explore movement not as a goal to conquer—but as a supportive tool for confidence, connection, and care. That’s where our Couch to 5K journey begins.
Zebra Crossings Couch to 5K: Together, at Your Pace
From January through May, Zebra Crossings families are invited to move together—at your own pace—as we prepare for Moms On The Run 5K on May 10, 2026.
Our Couch to 5K program is designed to be indoor-friendly, adaptive, and family-centered, welcoming children and adults of all abilities and energy levels.
This month’s focus is Phase 1: Build the Habit
The goal isn’t speed or distance—it’s showing up, building consistency, and discovering what movement feels good for your body.
Visit our website to explore this month’s “Build the Habit” phase, movement ideas, and tips to support your family through the winter months—together, with compassion and confidence.
Together, we move forward—one gentle step at a time.
At Zebra Crossings, every program is rooted in compassion, inclusion, and possibility. Whether you’re setting monthly resolutions, finding balance in daily routines, or taking your first steps toward the Couch to 5K, you’re part of a community that believes every child with a chronic medical condition—and every caregiver—deserves to feel supported and celebrated. Join us throughout 2026 as we move, grow, and thrive together—one meaningful moment at a time.
