CLIMB Healthy Lifestyles - Grades 8-11

March 9 through May 3, 2013 (and to be offered in Fall 2013 again)
Make a lifestyle change and improve overall health!
CLIMB is a 8-10-week program for teens struggling with weight. Participants and their families will work with the Lifestyle Team to learn the following skills:

Creating balanced meals

Proper exercise techniques
-
Identifying emotional traps that lead to overeating
-
How to make good food choices
-
Working as part of a group
Our Lifestyle Team consists of experts in the areas of:

Fitness
-
Nutrition
-
Group development and self esteem
CLIMB is designed for teens grades 8-11 (minimum age 13.5) who:

Struggle with weight and/ or body image
-
Have physician medical clearance to participate
-
Are committed to an intense program that addresses these issues from multiple angles
10 week program in which nutrition education begins prior to start of program.

Monday & Wednesday, from 3:15 pm-5:30 pm at The Works Family Health and Fitness Center, Somersworth, NH

Tuesdays 5pm-7pm. Nutrition education & Support Group (CHaD @ WDH)

Saturdays from 9am-10:30am (recreational activities at various locations)
Program fee: $ 75.00
There is no charge for family involvement. Full amount will be returned to all participants that complete program within guidelines.
